The Sickle Cell Anemia Program in Erie is designed to help individuals and families who are seeking information and help regarding their diagnosis and treatment of sickle cell disease. For over 30 years we have helped care for persons with sickle cell disease and provide many comprehensive services for people suffering with sickle cell anemia. Mrs. Rubye Jenkins-Husband has been a pioneer of Sickle Cell programs since 1969 and is the current Project Director.
